“ Had a great visit last weekend, first time stopping in after hearing a few locals mention it. Really welcoming atmosphere, good mix of people and a lovely view if you're sat by the windows. Jake looked after us - friendly, attentive without being pushy, and clearly knew the menu inside out. He recommended a couple of the small plates and they didn’t disappoint. Everything came out quickly, nicely presented, and full of flavour. Drinks were well-priced and the whole place just felt relaxed and well-run. Already told a few mates about it. Will definitely be back soon, maybe for dinner next time. ”
“ Five of us visited on Mother's Day and were all very pleased with our meals. The service was attentive and polite without being over bearing. The portions were good and all food was well presented and, most importantly, really tasty. Despite being a later booking on a very busy day for the restaurant, we didn't feel service or quality of food suffered and there was a nice atmosphere. We’d also stopped for a drink during a dog walk on the Saturday afternoon and drinks were very reasonably priced. Would definitely return. ”
“ The food looked amazing and tasted delicious. We had the 3 small plates for 22. The two of us shared as we wanted a light lunch I feel that it would have been nice if member of staff that was outside had greeted us when we arrived and told us that if we're eating outside, we needed to go inside and order and pay. My husband did this and we didn't have to wait too long for the food, so not a problem. The lady that took the order and served the food was very friendly and helpful. A lovely lunch out. We will be back for main meals. There is only 2 of the plates in the photo as we couldn't wait to dive in! ”
“ First time I’ve been here and from the first moment I walked in, I was greeted by Rhys who was very charming and welcoming. Great service, unfortunate for no smash burger however the wings were so tasty!! If I’m back in town someday I’ll definitely return. ”
“ We popped in to give this place a go for its obvious ideal location and outside seating on a Saturday lunchtime. As locals was keen for it to be successful under its new management. Staff were all smiling and welcoming as soon as we walked in (but not fake) really impressed. Had a few drinks and lunch there. All excellent. Just wanted to give a mention & thank you to Charlotte who was top throughout. We Will be going back. ”
“ Lovely evening and meal with Charlotte as our waitress, who had a wealth of knowledge about the menu and locally sourced foods as well as being very welcoming and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our Muscles and Halibut as well as the crispy potatoes with curried aioli side dish. Value for money is great when you consider the location, view and hospitality. Overall, I highly recommend for dinner and drinks. Especially in the summer. ”
“ Stunning place, I've seen some negative reviews about value for money but we got small plates instead of mains and were really happy. I think you expect to pay a bit more for the stunning location and lovely view. Our service was impeccable, I only caught Charlotte and Sarah's names but all the team were really attentive. We had friendly service, great food and would 100% recommend for a nice dinner or just a drink outside. ”
“ Fabulous high quality food, well presented. Friendly service from the lovely staff. Special mention for Jack who accurately memorised all our meals and chatted with us. Also the bar man who sorted out a lovely mocktail for me, An excellent end to a lovely day's cycling in the area. ”
